I have finally decided what I would like to do. The end of this year is a little busy for me, however, I want to make sure I am able to offer a little something. 

Session 1

11/21 & 11/27 I will be offering the Reindeer Sessions. No, not real Reindeer. They will be photoshopped in. The sessions will be $99 plus tax for 5 digital images. This is geared towards children, if you would like to make it a family session, that will be good too. However, this is for immediate family.

Session 2

I am also going to offer an indoor setup. This will be for 12/4 & 12/5. White back drop with fairy lights, white furry rug and fake snow. Here is my vision board for this session. This session will be $89 plus tax. This will be for kids only, the price includes up to 2 children, $12 per child after that and you will get 1 extra digital image. This mini session comes with 5 digital images.

I am trying to find outfits for these sessions and for the new props to arrive so I can make example pictures. I have not made the links active yet to book. I will on 10/1/2021. 

Family picture season is upon us. Every year I like to offer affordable family pictures. I make these session simple and easy even your kids will enjoy.

 First segment... My fur babies

 Yes, I said fur babies. I love golden retrievers so much! They are my favorite breed. Did you know, I have 3... YES... 3 golden retrievers. 

 First up - Douglas Duke 

 Born December 6, 2011. Weighing in around 95LBS. He is an Irish Setter/Golden Retriever mix. We got him when he was 5 weeks old. He is my absolute favorite! We have done everything together and he hardly leaves my side. He is my best fur-friend.

His favorite activity is going for walks and swims in our pool! Also, following his momma around EVERYWHERE!

 Next up is Brewster Wayne 

 He is named mostly after batman "Bruce Wayne" He weighs in at about 85LBS. He isn't the biggest fan of me but I still love him so much! He was a facebook dump when he was about 15 weeks. The person we got him from said he was brought over from Mexico and his bday is December 28, 2014. He came into our lives on April 8, 2015. No one wanted this poor baby, except for us. We wanted another pup to help Haley with the loss of of her mom. He was/is PERFECT! 

 We always like to say that he has his favorites ranked... Haley, Nick, Cora, Lynda. Even though I am the one who feeds him I am last of the list.

 His favorite activities are staying inside, staying inside, did I mention that he likes staying inside. He likes the ideas of walks and pooping on the concrete. BUT, his favorite is staying inside. 

 Last up is our newest addition Corbin Alexander.

 Born on January 10, 2021. We named him after a very comfortable seat for Harley Motorcycles. We brought him home just shy of 8 weeks. 

 He is so much fun! He is Cora's pup and he has attached himself to her and it is the cutest thing. He has learned basic manners and just turned 6 months this month.

 His favorite activities are swimming, swimming, SWIMMING! He loves swimming and being with Cora. 

HAPPY 6 MONTHS! Currently his at 72lbs and almost as big as his brothers. I am so happy he is here! 

Bobby / Bob Bob, 

 When my mom moved to her new apartment she was quick to call about this nice man that helped her move her boxes in. Then the phone calls about you walking around, to maybe to get the courage to talk to her? Then your first date happen then all of a sudden you two were moving in together. 

 I'll be honest, my first impression of you I thought you were so ... weird! Your sense of humor was nothing that I was used to. When Mom told us your name, she said "it is literally Bobby Hill (like king of the hill)" But, I would watch you interact with my mom and I saw the love that was building and I thought, what the hay... I'll give you a try. 

 As the years went on, you helped my mom help my sister and nephew. For that, I am very grateful for you! I know it wasn't easy. 

 As I was gathering pictures to make a book for your children I saw a man who traveled places that I am positive you wouldn't have if you were not  with my mom. You traveled to Hawaii, you have been on a handful of cruises, Universal studios, the list goes on. I loved that you would do all of this without complaint and you kept your mind open to new things. Your time on this earth was meaningful!

 You were a very simple man. Not a left over around when Bobby came. If I had gotten something that I knew my family wouldn't eat I gave it to Bobby. He would never let food go to waste. Last thing I gave to him was Lime chips that were left at my home from a get together. I never got to ask him how he liked the chips. 

 You made my mom so happy! Y'all had your up and downs just like anyone, but, you were her person. I am extremely grateful that for the last 13 years my mom got to see what love was meant to be like. 

 I will miss your bad jokes and your really long stories! I went to mom's yesterday and it just wasn't the same. The TV didn't have a ghost story on or a football game, it was just quiet. 

 Thank you for all that you have done for us and accepting us as family. You will be greatly missed. Don't worry about Mom, we got her from here! Rest easy Bobby! 

February 26, 1962 - July 19, 2021

 There will be NO TREE FARM pictures this year. The farm that I usually use increased their pricing so much that I would have had to charge $350 a session vs $199. Makes me so sad not to offer that this year. I have looked into other tree farms and I am not able to photograph on the days they have open. 

 My husband's and I 10 year wedding anniversary is on 11.11.2021 and we have a anniversary trip planned for the first 2 weekends in November. All the days available from other tree farms, that are close by, only have availability for those weekends or during the week. 

 I will be offering "reindeer" mini sessions (just like my dinosaur session) on 11/21/2021 and 12/04/2021. These will not be real reindeer. Example pictures closer to the announcement. 

 Be on the look out for future blog posts on my Holiday & Family Mini Sessions. This will still be an exciting holiday season! 

 My first thought that came across my mind was my business page. The first step I had to do was get my personal Facebook page back. Thankfully, I was able to get my personal Facebook page back within a week, after submitting my drivers license to Facebook. 

 When I was able to log in the first thing I checked was my business page... I clicked on it and I was removed from as the admin. My face turned ghost white. I was about to hit my busiest time of the year. How was I going to be able to contact my clients to let them know about their upcoming sessions? I immediately starting researching on how to get my admin rights back to the page. 

 After SEVERAL attempts Facebook has decided not to give me admin rights back. They say because the admin of the page account wasn't compromised that they can not give me the admin rights. Of course that admin wasn't compromised because they took the account from me. 

 I submitted proof of ownership to Facebook and they still denied my request. SO, they gave me no choice but to start a new page. 5 years of blood, sweat, and tears torn down in a matter of 8 hours. 

 I am still able to post to my original page from Instagram. I will never to give this up! Hopefully Facebook doesn't catch on to the 2 pages with the same name. 

 I hate to think of all the messages on my original page that are going unanswered. What I think happened was... I never kept credit cards attached to my account. I'm thinking they decided my account was not worth it. Which I am thankful for. 

In the end, Facebook DOES NOT CARE! Change your passwords often and please don't leave your credit card info in there! A friend of mine recently got her account hacked and they charged $250 then they deleted her facebook page and business page! Beware out there. 

Have you ever seen the movie "Office Space"? There is a scene in the movie where they talk about, if you were to have a million dollars what would you do with your time. If you said work on cars you are meant to be an auto mechanic. 

When I think about it, all I want to do is photography. Now, I do not have 1 million dollars (maybe one day) but with a very supportive husband and children, anything is possible.  

I mean, who would not want to photograph beautiful families! I am excited to see what the future will hold for my little small business.

Bluebonnets sessions are a great way to show your Texas pride. I will even have my "famous" Texas flag there. 

The location will be the same that I did last year. It is around 45 mins from Katy, depending on where you are coming from. 

The cost for the bluebonnet mini sessions is $199 plus tax ($215.42). The non-refundable deposit is $50. The remaining balance, $165.41, is due at the end of your session. Please remember when making the deposit it is non-refundable. Rain out date will be the following weekend. 

With this session you will get 6 digital images.

What should you wear: 

I'm usually the last person to tell you what you should wear. I love yoga pants and t-shirts. 

What I have observed that works best, spring colors, pastels. Dark clothing doesn't give the vibe you will be looking for in the pictures. Usually I beg my clients not to wear white, but in bluebonnets it works so well. 

Be prepared to sit if you are tall or an adult, short dresses or tight clothing may not be a good fit. I will have my chair there too.

I started Harp Photography 6 years ago. Time flies when you're having fun.

Mother's Day is right around the corner, it is time to celebrate. Mom's are often the picture taker in the family and are often left out of pictures. Or, lets face it, when dad's get a hold of the camera, they take some of the most unflattering pictures 😂. 

I am here to help you get beautiful pictures of you with your pride and joys.

The first one will be the "A Texan Tradition Mini Session". This is the my 3rd annual Bluebonnet session. The location will be in Chappel Hill Texas (About 45 mins out of Katy/Houston on 290). The location is in a safe area away from the freeway. 

I will be taking 4 sessions each day in the evening ONLY. 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, 7:00pm. A little hint... 7:00pm will be the best time with the best lighting.

Kicked off the holiday season with Halloween Mini Session. I had several cuties come out in their adorable costumes. 

I also introduced family mini sessions for the holiday season, which were very successful! They will be coming back in July 2017 for 1 weekend for each month.  

I closed out the season with my Christmas Minis. I had 2 set ups this year. The traditional Christmas tree, and a wooden backdrop with falling snow. 

Thank you each and every client, new and past. This has, by far, has been the best year yet. I am looking forward to working with everyone next year in 2017.

Recently I did a get together with my new friend, Maria with Mariabella Photography. Cora, of course, wanted to play model and Bella played the role of Maria.
